The side of PARADOX in trading that you must understand

For some people, whether they are beginners or even those who have already lived it, forex trading is a confusing business. It is considered difficult to predict the direction of the market, difficult to make a profit, in fact often experience losses.

Even though it looks easy, yes, as long as you click click click click, just open buy and sell. Simply take advantage of the ups and downs of market movements. The reality? There are many stories and stories of failure in this business.

You must realize that forex trading is the most dynamic business in the world. So dynamic, THERE IS NO ABSOLUTE TRUTH. This business is full of perspectives and full of freedom.

It is possible that if you ask different people, you will get different answers. For example, ask about the use of indicators / about strategies / entry methods / risk management methods / and so on.

Everyone has a different "trading style". This is where trading is unique. Very dynamic, subjective and personal. Everyone has a POINT OF VIEW.

For those of you who are still beginners, you must feel confused. Which one should I go with? Which one should I study? My advice, keep getting more references and keep practicing to improve the experience. It's a process to "maturity". It takes time and patience, sooner or later you will find your true self.

But among the millions of perceptions and opinions that exist, there is a "certainty" that you need to know.

As free as trading is, as dynamic as forex is, there is still a predictable side to it. There are patterns that can be learned. Although not "perfect" but still predictable. It can be logical. The science of probability and statistics come into play here. It is not certain but the probability level can be calculated.

There is a "definite" side and an "uncertain" side.

There is a pattern, but it's not exactly the same.

There is a predictable side and an unpredictable side.

This is a paradox. You must be able to recognize and familiarize yourself with the paradox. Make peace with uncertainty and accept imperfection.

What are the Sides of the Paradox in TRADING?

Not doing Cut Loss, not necessarily getting MC.

Got MC, definitely caused by not doing Cut Loss.

Short Trend, not necessarily a Long Trend.

There is a long trend, it must come from a short trend.

MA crossing occurs, not necessarily a CONTINUOUS trend.

There is a CONTINUOUS trend, it must be preceded by crossing MA.

Breakout occurs, not necessarily a CONTINUOUS trend. (False Breakout)

There is a CONTINUOUS trend, it must be preceded by a breakout.

Trends in short time frames are not necessarily a trend in long time frames.

But the trend in the long time frame, must start from the trend in the short time frame.

Getting profit, not necessarily good at trading. (could be due to luck)

But if you are good at trading, you will definitely get a consistent profit.

Actually, not only trading, life is also filled with paradoxes, for example,

The car brakes, does not necessarily turn.

But if you turn, you must start with the brakes.

Dare to try and try, not necessarily SUCCESS.

But if SUCCESS, it must start from the courage to try and try.

Small waves, not necessarily big waves.

Big waves must start with small waves.

People make mistakes, not necessarily go to jail.

But if you go to prison, it must be because you made a mistake.

Trading is like life. There is a "definite" side and an "uncertain" side.

Full of dynamics and change. Even though everything is uncertain, it doesn't mean we live it carelessly. Still need preparation. Still need strategy and planning. This is the part that we must do our best.

SUCCESS = PREPARATION + LUCK.

I believe that no matter how good the preparation and no matter how good the strategy, there are still factors beyond our control, namely luck.

Strategy is important but not everything.

Preparation is important but not everything.

Luck is also important but not everything.

There are things we can control, there are factors we cannot control. Don't be an arrogant trader who thinks he knows everything. But also don't be a lazy trader who only depends on luck alone.
